IP Office Implementation Training (5 Days)

Audience

This course is designed for Avaya Associates, Avaya Partners, and Resellers with IP Office installation and maintenance responsibilities.

Prerequisites

The students should have a basic understanding of TCP/IP addressing and networking. The student should have taken the "AVA00916WEN - IP Office Hardware and Data Components”.

Delivery

The course is a 5 days of hands-on instructor led training.

Course Content

The course is intended to provide the student with the knowledge and skills to install, configure and perform basic troubleshooting of an IP Office system including embedded messaging.
  • Describe the IP Office Manager Configuration settings
  • Understand the different phone units connected to the IP Office
  • Install network connections and understand IP routes
  • Install and configure VoIP endpoints
  • Use the basic functions of the System Status Application and the SysMonitor
  • Set the security settings in the IP Office configuration
  • Configure the System SD Card / CF
  • Customize the IP Office 500 control unit
  • Set up the licenses
  • Configure hunt groups for agents and Hot Desking
  • Set up specific functions on users
  • Set up a line configuration
  • Configure SIP terminals and connections
  • Configure Small Community Networking
  • Customize network connections
  • Customize a Small Community Networking (SCN)
  • Use the System Status Application for the various types of system alarms
  • Use the SysMonitor to troubleshoot
  • Describe the difference between the variants Embedded VoiceMail and VoiceMail Pro
  • Customize embedded voicemail (EVM)
